Welcome to Spanish 1B


This course is a continuation of Spanish IA, stressing conversation, and grammar. Increased vocabulary study and more complex grammar are taught. Students are expected to write short compositions in the language and participate in daily oral dialogues. 
Prerequisite: Achievement of at least a B- in Spanish IA. 
Students who maintain an overall B- average for the year will be recommended for placement in Spanish 2 in high school.
