All counter tops in the Kennel should be wiped down with bleach at the end of the day.

There are no refunds or exchanges for purchased food.
No cooked food can be saved for the next day. It must be discarded, taken to the teachers' lounge or taken home by the Volunteers.

TB Clearance

If OIS does not have a copy of your current TB clearance from your prior school, please provide the current documentation to the OIS office.

State regulations require that all lunch workers have a current tuberculosis (TB) risk assessment completion certificate on file at OIS. TB risk assessment certificates are valid for 4 years and include a Risk Assessment Questionnaire and Certificate of Completion. TB risk assessments done at an OUSD site will be automatically turned into the OIS Office and entered into the school’s TB Clearance database.

If you miss the risk assessments at the OUSD locations, you may go to your personal physician or one of several county clinics and be tested there.  You will be responsible for turning in the original TB paperwork to the OIS Office (a copy will be made there and the original returned to you for your records).

Vaccination for Hepatitis A is also recommended for all Kennel volunteers. The Hepatitis A vaccination should be available through your heath care provider.
