Spring Musical 2018

The Bulldog Theater program is sponsored by Parent's Club (OISPC) and administered by the OUSD. We offer two productions each school year.  This year, we will have 2 musicals.  One in the fall and one in the spring.  Students can participate as members of the cast or technical crew. By working together with adult mentors to create a quality production, students develop confidence and respect for others as well as skills in collaboration, teamwork and stagecraft.

Program Manager

Dianna Langer is a previous OIS parent who continues to provide administrative support for our Bulldog Theater and Bulldog Sports programs.

Event Manager

Jeanette Lipp is a former OIS parent and is overseeing the area of Event Manager.

Director/Producer/Production Crew

Bay Area Children's Theatre has been contracted to provide our program with all staff and services.

Parents are a very important part of our team, and we would not have this program without their volunteer hours. Parent volunteers serve on the following committees: backstage, publicity and publications, tickets, house operations, concessions and cast and crew celebration.

The program is a collaborative effort involving the Producer, Director, Event Manager, Technical Manager, cast and crew members and their parents. The Producer, Event Manager and Technical Manager are responsible for organizing and overseeing the many aspects of our program. The Director is the artistic manager of the production and is responsible for auditioning, casting, and preparing the actors for the show.

Please see the FAQs page for detailed information on the current production
