BAY AREA CHILDREN'S THEATRE STAFF:
DIRECTOR: Simon Trumble is very excited to be working with OIS this year. He is a teaching artist, actor, director and designer. A Berkeley native, Simon trained as an actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan. He directed and performed for a number of years in NYC before receiving a Masters in Educational Theatre at the City College of New York. Simon relocated back to the Bay last summer. He has worked as a teaching artist for Berkeley Rep, Cal Shakes, and Berkeley Playhouse to name a few. He recently performed with the Bay Area Children's Theatre as Dump Truck in Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site: the Musical, and can be seen this fall as Horton in BACT's production of Seussical.
CHOREOGRAPHER: Sidney Spiegel is a dancer and choreographer from San Francisco holding a BA in Dance from the University of California, Riverside. She began her dance training at a young age in tap, jazz and modern dance styles. During her Summers off in college, Sidney began assisting and choreographing musical theater productions for a musical theater Summer camp in San Francisco. For her final year of school, Sidney traveled to Israel to study and train at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Upon returning home, Sidney has been dancing professionally with a handful of contemporary dance companies around the Bay Area as well as choreographing for Bay Area Children's Theater. Sidney is thrilled to be back for a third season with Bulldog Theatre at OIS with such a talented group of students!
MUSIC DIRECTOR: Amber Dyson
PRODUCER: Amanda Maxwell- Amanda's background in theatre education spans over 10 years and three states. She has been a teaching artist, director, performer and arts administrator in Florida, New York, and most recently here in the Bay Area with Bay Area Children's Theatre since 2015. In addition to managing and producing productions for OIS Bulldog Theatre, Amanda also manages BACT's outreach initiative Disney Musicals in Schools and co-teaches BACT's Advanced Performers. Amanda holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida. Break Legs, Bulldogs!
PRODUCTION MANAGER: Maria Castro - After receiving her BA in Dramatic Arts from University of California, Davis in June of 2011, Maria came back home to the East Bay to commence her career as a stage manager and production manager. Her first show with BACT was in the fall of 2011 stage managing the world premiere of The Magic School Bus: The Climate Challenge; Maria's been hooked on working with BACT ever since!

PROGRAM MANAGER:: Dianna Langer is a previous OIS parent who continues to provide administrative support for our Bulldog Theater and Bulldog Sports programs.
EVENT MANAGER: Jeanette Lipp is a current OIS parent and is overseeing the area of Event Manager.
